It has consistently provided a supportive staff and a great and encouraging environment for workouts The staff and members are wonderful. I participated religiously for over a year. I lost 45 pounds. I felt good and had lots of energy. Then I stated missing sessions and the weight started to creep back on. My circumstances changed. I had to commute further for work. I made excuses. I developed plantar fascitis and a heel spur that was so painful that I could no longer work out. I think I missed a year or more. Fortunately, I have been able to get my foot problems under control and I came back to Curves this summer. I work out consistently and now I have lost 55 pounds and I plan to keep going. I know that with the help of Curves I will not only be successful in achieving my weight loss, but in maintaining it. What is the best exercise program? It is the one that you participate in regularly. For me, that is the Curves workout. I like it, it's fun and I can stick to it. Making Curves a habit is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. The time I spend at Curves each day is my "me time". With the encouragement I receive at Wilsonville Curves, I know that I can be successful in the long term. Being healthy and making healthy choices in today's world is a constant struggle and it is wonderful to have Curves on my side. I know that even if I slip up, whenever I want to get back on track, Curves will be there waiting for me with open arms. I think the Wilsonville Curves is the Best! Curves, was to me, the missing ingredient in my health goals. I joined Curves a year ago September. I work out 3 days a week. I am so pleased and happy with the results I have and am achieving. My blood pressure is doing great, I am not yo-yoing with my weight. I like how my body is shaping up. I am stronger physically, my diabetes is under good control and my heart is doing great (had triple bypass surgery in 1996) which in all gives me a greater sense of well being physically and mentally. It had helped to some degree but regular exercise began making a real difference for me. Now I do not take these supplements any longer and with exercise I do not feel the stiffness or pain any more.
